Chris Chapa 

Bio

Chris Chapa is a Chicago based interdisciplinary artist divulging their thoughts and questions around gender, identity and sexuality with care and curiosity. Graduated from MICA, Chris has interned with Ada Pinkston and the Cleve Carney Museum of Art, was a designer for the 25th Annual Benefit Fashion Show, featured in a Tove Lo music video and has had a garment worn by Lady Gaga. They are currently revitalizing their artistic practice and continuing their work following “I Have A Friend in Chicago Who Can Always Find The Big Dipper” by relating the experience of becoming comfortable in one's own body to the way we adorn the buildings we live in with details that are beautiful, structural and unique.
